I don't really know what people want in Opening Statements, so I decided to do go with this. I have absolutely zero reason to lie because SOMEBODY among all of you knows what happened every week-- so compare notes. Here is literally my entire thought process step-by-step through the game:
Week 1 : I had no idea what everyone was doing or even the point of the whole game/ORGs. Jake pointed me in the right direction right after HoH competition to talk to Ray, so I credit him for avoiding the block that week. Jay was the only one to consult me for my vote--even though mine obviously didn’t matter.
Week 2 : Only people to talk to me in depth at this point were Ray, Jay, Stacey, Mike. This was only because two were on the block. Of them all, Mike was immune and did not affect the outcome of that week's vote. Hence, why I trusted him most out of everyone else.
Week 3: I was nominated for not communicating with others, but this week I began to talk to Robbie, the HoH. However, I was still uncertain about trusting him because he was the one who nominated me. When he talked Jay/Stacey into using veto on me- I trusted him more fully since I did not ask him to do so. I thought Chad was coming off, not me. Travis became my number 1 ally, though the whole house seemed to hate him. I still don't know why.
Week 4: I was nominated again as a "pawn" and Jake began talking to me. However, it was mostly AFTER I had won veto and saved myself. Apparently he had talked to everyone else beforehand, and picked out Steven to be a target. I don't know why. I found out Jay had been feeding me lies and started to find a way to evict him--starting with the survey.
Week 5: Jake randomly comes to me and vents about Jay, and I accepted the offer to help since I agreed at the time. I decided to try working with Jake (since Robbie was also in on the plan to break up the super couple). Right after, Eric offered me an alliance of outsiders from the survey. Suddenly everyone seemed to come to me, which was a problem for my potential "playing all sides." This is the week where I became everyone's sudden BFF, but I did not forget that my first friends were Travis and Mike. Eric's alliance included Ryan but not explicitly, since we deemed him an "outsider" too. I trusted Eric because he had no power and really no reason to keep me around. I tried to keep Travis in the game.
Week 6: Busy week game-wise. I helped Jake and Robbie with a plan to get rid of Jay (started from the week before). I also worked with Jordan to get Stacey to waste her double vote all the while evicting Jay. Luckily, it worked. This was my first move of the game. Ironically, Stacey was the one who encouraged me to get off my ass and do something.
Week 7: Ryan wanted to evict Stacey/Mike to break up the pair so I figured there was a mega alliance of Jordan/Robbie/Jake/Ryan. Apparently I was wrong? But the numbers were too big so Eric and I found a way to backdoor one of them by using veto. Unfortunately it was Jordan. I didn't pick Jordan specifically- it just turned out that way. Eric and I got a void and a double vote to gain control of the extra votes in the game.
Week 8: Jake blew up on me for getting Jordan evicted, which surprised me. Because of his reaction, I was under the impression that there WAS a Jordan/Jake/Robbie/Ryan alliance which had become the largest side in my eyes. However, Mike won so I was thankfully safe. I really wanted Jake gone but he won veto, putting Ryan and Robbie on the block. I didn't want either to go and this week I ended up not doing very much. I went with what Mike and the house wanted.
Week 9: My first HoH--I targeted Stacey and put Jake up for replacer powers only…I wanted to keep Jake around (since we DID pass the not-talking-to-each-other phase) but I didn't tell anyone, except Jake. Mike without telling me saves Stacey, so unfortunately Jake had to go. I was genuinely shocked at what happened that week because throughout the veto competition I had figured the non-nominees were all going to KEEP the nominations...
Week 10: My only goal this week was to win VETO at all costs because I had an extra vote and I wanted to keep it in my possession and not put it to waste. I used it simply to guarantee nothing weird was going to happen…aka Mike getting evicted. This week nobody really talked strategy to me, so I played it safe and double voted.
Week 11: I went into F4 thinking fully that it was 2 vs 2 (me/mike vs. eric/ryan) but that obviously wasn't the case? To this day, I have no idea what happened. I promised Ryan that I would vote out Mike, but a last second gut feeling told me otherwise, so I ended up evicting Eric. I just couldn't evict Mike despite pressure from Eric and Ryan. During the hectic FF, I realized through Ryan that Eric and Mike were working together all along. Turned out to be true? which shocked me completely.
Week 12: On the flip side, F3 with Mike and Ryan basically guaranteed me a F2 no matter what. However, I did not throw the last HoH (courtesy of Jake's advice again), when I easily could have avoided making another single-handed decision to send someone to jury thereby guaranteeing that I would have to pick between two of my best friends in the house. THIS WAS MY BIGGEST REGRET.
And there you have it, some insight into everything I did in the game to find myself here. By no means was it a clean, lie-free game that I had anticipated on playing. I am pretty sure the timeline is correct. And Thank you all for making this an interesting first game for me. And even more thanks to Alex and Lilly for tolerating my n00bness. Appreciate it.
